Import Your Stock from Excel or CSV

If you already manage your stock in a notebook, an Excel file or a Google Sheet, you don't need to retype everything. This article walks you through it, line by line if needed.

The steps

   On the Offers page, click Import CSV.

   Choose your file. If it contains several sheets, you're asked which one to use.

   The most important step: match your columns. Showroom213 tries to automatically guess which field each column of your file corresponds to — check that the match is correct, especially for brand, model and price.

   You're asked how your prices are written in the file — full DA or Millions. A preview shows you how the first price will be converted: if that number doesn't look right, change the setting before continuing.

   You're also asked whether the cars belong to the showroom or to third parties on consignment — this determines whether the owner's name and phone number should come from your file or be filled in automatically with your branch's contact details.

   Check the preview: rows with problems are flagged, along with the reason.

   Click Import. A progress bar shows the number of cars imported and skipped.

After the import

The result shows how many cars were imported and how many were skipped, with a reason for each skipped row. You can fix these rows in your original file and run the import again — rows already imported won't be duplicated if you don't include them.
