Confirm, complete, or cancel an order: what changes

These three buttons don't just change the order's status — they also move the linked car and lead. Here's exactly what happens, and what can be undone.

What will change

These three actions change more than the order's status. The linked car and the linked lead change too — automatically, with no extra confirmation.

What surprises people most

Confirming sends the car straight to Sold — not to Reserved. There's no "set it aside for this customer" state in the order flow: confirming an order already treats the sale as done.

Canceling marks the lead as Lost, even if the customer is simply going to buy another car. If that's the case, reopen the lead's record and change its status by hand — canceling doesn't guess that for you.

Completing an order creates a client if none existed yet. The name, phone number, and balance come directly from the order's information. That's why a client can show up in your list without you having added them yourself.

The transition rules

  1. Only a Pending order can be confirmed.
  2. Only a Confirmed order can be completed.
  3. A Completed order can no longer be canceled, modified, or deleted.

Once an order is Completed, there is no way to undo it from within the app. If you completed an order by mistake, contact support.
