Understanding your quotas and limits

Owner

Three counterintuitive things to know: your quotas are per branch, the period follows your subscription date (not the 1st of the month), and deleting a record frees up its slot.

A video for this guide is in preparation.

Three things to know

  1. Each branch has its own full quota — it isn't a total shared across your branches. Two branches on the same plan each get the full amount.
  2. The period renews on your subscription's anniversary date, not the 1st of the month. If you subscribed on March 20, your quota resets on the 20th of every month.
  3. Deleting a record (a listing, an order, a lead…) frees up its slot in the quota. The counter tracks what actually exists, not what was ever created.

What counts toward the quota

Each resource has its own counter, independent of the others: listings, orders, leads, users, invoices, contracts, reports, and branches. Adding a car doesn't reduce your order quota.

Two different messages

These two messages don't mean the same thing:

  • "Monthly limit reached" — you've used everything your plan allows for this branch, for this period. Upgrading to a higher plan, waiting for renewal, or deleting an old record frees up space.
  • "This feature isn't available on your plan" — the resource in question (invoices, contracts, or reports, for example) simply isn't included in your current plan, regardless of how many you've already used.

You'll also sometimes see a discreet warning when you're approaching 80% of a limit — it's not a block, just a heads-up so you can plan ahead.

Track your usage

The exact breakdown of your limits and current usage, branch by branch, is in SettingsUsage. The amount for each plan is on the pricing page — this article doesn't repeat them, since they change faster than this page does.
