Recording a sale, start to finish
Follow a real sale from A to Z: pick the car, the customer, the price, then confirm, collect payment, and complete the order.
A video for this guide is in preparation.
The 4 steps of the wizard
- The car — from your stock, or a custom order if you don't yet have the vehicle the customer wants.
- The customer — an existing lead, an existing client, or a new person.
- Price and delivery — agreed price, deposit, and whether the car is ready or still being imported.
- Review — check everything before creating the order, with an Edit button on each section to fix something without starting over.
What will change
Confirming the order marks the car as Sold (not Reserved). Completing the order creates a client if none existed yet, and converts the linked lead. Full details are in the article below.
After creation
- The order is created with the status Pending. Nothing is final yet.
- When the customer actually commits, click Confirm order — the car then moves to Sold.
- Record the deposit and any further payments as they come in.
- Once the car has been handed over, click Complete order. You'll be prompted to enter the profit made on this sale.
At the end: the car is Sold, the client exists with the right balance, and the sale is counted in your statistics.
